During the last two weeks, four girls from the older classes came to give presentations to the first-year students about their Erasmus internship experiences in Malaga and Dublin. They talked about their experiences in these cities, including their jobs, families, transport around the cities, and the rules about what they could and couldn’t do. The girls were very nice and answered all our questions. They prepared interesting presentations so that we could also see some pictures from their internships.
We liked the presentations about Malaga and Dublin because we learned something new about these cities and about the things we could do if we took part in an Erasmus programme. In our opinion, these cities are quite different. Malaga interested us because of its warm weather, beautiful beaches, and surroundings. We think that we could go to Malaga even if our English wasn’t excellent. Therefore, it is a great opportunity for students who aren’t very good at English. Another advantage is that the working hours in Malaga are shorter, so we would have more time to explore the city.
Dublin was a little different. We were interested in its culture, history, and interesting places. We think that students who go to Dublin should have a much better level of English than those who go to Malaga because English is the native language for Dubliners. This means that we need to be able to communicate at a higher level. Dublin is also different from Malaga because we have to stay with host families and follow their rules.
Both cities have their own charm, and each offers something different. We think that these presentations were very helpful and taught us a lot about the Erasmus opportunities available at our school. We are sure that they motivated students to work harder at school because we would really like to take part in the programme ourselves.

Počas posledných dvoch týždňov prišli žiačky zo starších ročníkov porozprávať prvákom o projekte Erasmus na našej škole. Pripravili si pútavé prezentácie doplnené vlastnými fotografiami a videami. Rozprávali nám o stáži v Malage a Dubline a o svojich skúsenostiach.
